YouSendIt’s ISP partners can now address e-mail bounce-back frustrations for customers with YouSendIt’s digital content delivery service
Mountain View, Calif. – May 23, 2007 –YouSendIt (www.yousendit.com) announced today that
it has initiated an ISP Partnership Program in the United States, enabling ISPs to offer a cobranded
large file delivery service to address customer pain points and generate new revenue.
YouSendIt, a reliable, Web-based file delivery service that offers an easy-to-use solution for
sending, receiving and tracking digital content over the Internet, can now be integrated into ISP
service offerings without any up-front investment in software engineering or IT infrastructure.
Current restrictions imposed on e-mail servers limit inbound e-mail file attachments to 5-10 MB on
average and can result in bounce-backs. The YouSendIt ISP Partnership Program eliminates email
bounce-backs, the need to overnight large files on disk, and the frustrations inherent with
FTP’s lack of usability. Integrating YouSendIt into an ISP service offering will provide customers a
fast, simple and reliable way to deliver MP3’s, videos, voice recordings, pictures, high resolution
graphics, and other large digital files.
“Our ISP Channel Partner Program allows ISPs to provide customers with a value-add to their
current service bundle that will solve their file sending issues,” said YouSendIt vice president of
business development, Harry Vitelli. “Additionally, ISPs are gaining a significant competitive
advantage in partnering with YouSendIt through co-branded landing pages, the ability to rename
the service to match the ISP’s brand and easy integration that requires no software or hardware
installation.”
“Windstream is pleased to offer our customers a trusted, secure and convenient way to send and
track large files through our YouSendIt file delivery service offering,” said Clark Cogbill of Little
Rock-based Windstream Communications, which serves customers in 16 states.”
ISPs who join the partner program will receive 30 percent of the advertising revenue from their
customers who use YouSendIt’s free basic service and 50 percent of the fees from customers
subscribing to the business-class services.
