- The list of fastest growing private companies is compiled annually by the Business Journal. To be eligible, each company must be a privately held company as of fiscal year-end, headquartered in the Silicon Valley and have at least a three year sales history. Final selection was based on revenue growth.

- The 2010 award looked at percent growth from 2007 to 2009 and revenue for 2009 and included companies in all business sectors.
- YouSendIt made its first appearance on the list ranked No.6 out of 60 companies.

- The Inc. 500 is a list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. The Inc. 500|5000 ranks companies by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. Inc. also ranks the fastest-growing companies by industry, metro area, revenue, and number of employees, and they also highlight women- and minority- run companies.
- YouSendIt is #207 in the Inc. 5000. YouSendIt also received #20 in Software, #6 in San Jose, and Ivan Koon, YouSendIt’s CEO, received #5 in Top Ten Asian-Run Companies.

- The winners of Tech Awards Circle’s second competition represent a broad range of achievements -- from hardware to software to services in consumer/SOHO, SMB, mid-range and enterprise markets. Tech Awards Circle winners, selected by an independent circle of journalists, should be considered the "best of the best" in the computer and consumer technology industries today.
- Gold, silver and bronze awards were given out in each category. Gold product award winners in each category will automatically be entered into an annual Product of the Year competition for additional recognition.
